چکیده
The spin dynamics of radical pairs from ion-pair complexes between viologen and tetraarylborate compounds have been investigated in the presence microwave (μw) radiation, using steady-state electron paramagnetic resonance to follow pair dynamics.

Inverse Young inequality in quaternion matrices
Inverse Young inequality asserts that if $nu >1$, then $|zw|ge nu|z|^{frac{1}{nu}}+(1-nu)|w|^{frac{1}{1-nu}}$, for all complex numbers $z$ and $w$, and equality holds if and only if $|z|^{frac{1}{nu}}=|w|^{frac{1}{1-nu}}$. In this paper the complex representation of quaternion matrices is applied to establish the inverse Young inequality for matrices of quaternions. Moreover, a necessary and ...

Several representations of the generalized Drazin inverse of an anti-triangular block matrix in Banach algebra are given in terms of the generalized Banachiewicz--Schur form.
متن کاملNanofabrication in polymer matrices
Polymeric systems have played important roles as templates for nanofabrication since they can offer nanotemplates with different morphologies and tunable sizes, can be easily removed after reactions, and can be further modified with different functional groups to enhance the interactions. This review covers recent advances in polymer-assisted fabrication of nanomaterials with emphasis on ordere...
متن کاملOptical switching of radical pair conformation enhances magnetic sensitivity
The yield of radical pair reactions is influenced by magnetic fields well beyond the levels expected from energy considerations. This dependence can be traced back to the microscopic dynamics of electron spins and constitutes the basis of chemical compasses. Here we propose a new experimental approach based on molecular photoswitches to achieve additional control on the chemical reaction and al...
متن کاملAll-optical switching based on inverse Raman scattering in liquid-core optical fibers.
We report on a new platform for all-optical switching based on inverse Raman scattering in liquids. Narrowband switching, which could be suitable for wavelength-division-multiplexed applications, is demonstrated using integrated liquid-core optical fiber infiltrated with both neat liquids (CCl(4) and CS(2)) as well as an organic chromophore (β-carotene) dissolved in CCl(4). Compared to standard...
